Uth Ministry
Welcome to the Jesus Freaks Uth Ministries page. I am Neal Sweet, the youth pastor at Hermitage Baptist Church, and if you are looking for a Uth Ministry to attend this is one of the best ones around. Our goal is to reach the lost and equip all who come to worship with us to be Christ-like. Through evangelism, discipleship, worshipping, witnessing, and fellowship with others we try and represent not only Hermitage Baptist Church but Jesus Christ.
On Sunday mornings, we have a time of Sunday School that is from 9:50-10:40 AM. Sunday School is led by two terrific couples. Our middle school class is led by David and Wanda Holland and our High school class is led by Mike and Paige Beatty. These guys do a wonderful job in leading students into a deeper faith and walk with Jesus. After Sunday School we have a time of worship in the sanctuary.
On Sunday evenings (during the school year) we meet from 5-7 PM. During this time we have a chance to fellowship with one another. Each student also has an opportunity to be apart of a craft or drama team. We will also have recreation and snacks. Finally, we also spend time in Bible Study.
On Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 PM we have our Uth Worship Service. During this time we sing contemporary Christian Music, play games, watch exciting videos, and have a message centered on a students' life. This is an awesome time to worship with fellow teenagers in an environment specifically for Uth.
Jesus Freaks Uth Ministries is a great Uth Ministry. Along with our Sunday School teachers, we have super people such as Diane McCleod, Matt and Jennifer Davis, Chris Carter, Mike Cash, Gary and Joni Parnell, and Ashley and Julie Creel that help shape the Uth Ministry into an awesome ministry. If you would like to serve as a leader in our Uth Ministry, please let me know.
