Giving at Hermitage
100% of the tithes and offerings received at Hermitage Baptist Church go toward leading families here and around the world to passionately follow Christ.
9% of our undesignated offering each week supports the missions and ministry of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention through what we call the Cooperative Program. It helps us as a church support almost 4,000 missionaries all across the world, as well as serve the widows and orphans of our community.
2% of our undesignated offerings support the collective ministry of the Kershaw Baptist Association, of which almost 50 churches in our county seek to work together to reach our local community.
1% of our undesignated offerings support church planting directly.
In 2013 our church went on a spiritual journey called Legacy of Faith. During this emphasis, we sincerely sought the Lord concerning our future building and ministry needs and determined how we were going to give and fund that plan. 100% of the giving received to Legacy of Faith goes toward paying off the construction cost of our Family Life Center, completed in 2016.
