AWANA

Have you heard about one of the best children’s programs around?  Have you heard about AWANA?  On Sunday  nights from 5:00 to 7:00, children from all over Kershaw County come to Hermitage for Bible stories, games, friends, and fun.  If your child or grandchild is anywhere from three years old to fifth grade, they have a place in AWANA.

Our Cubbies (three and four year olds) are led by Miss Judy.  These children memorize Bible verses and learn Bible stories every week.  They also enjoy a snack, make crafts, and sing together.

Sparks is for kids in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.  Miss Paula and her helpers do a wonderful job of presenting God’s Word in a creative and compelling way.  These children also memorize Scripture each week and have a high-speed game time.

Second through fifth graders are led by Miss Pam.  Bring your children to T&T (Truth and Training) to be with other kids just like them who are growing in the faith.  These older kids are getting ready to move into Hermitage’s youth program, but they’re not slowing down.  They continue the biblical discipleship that begins in Cubbies and Sparks and take it to the next level.

Come on and check out AWANA.  We meet on Sunday nights during the school year.  Call the church office or contact our AWANA commander David Holland for more information.  We take God’s commandment to raise children in His Word seriously.
